Dickens of a Christmas

Dickens of a Christmas was held on November 30 for its 14th annual year in a row. The event was a success with the number of attendees estimated between 1,500 and 2,000 people. Dickens featured living windows, live music, and a variety of food vendors as it traditionally has, while offering new additions and changes. One of these additions, the living windows competition, encouraged participants to create exciting variations on traditional Dickens scenes. Below, Heather and Dave Walles of the Indianola Christian Union Church accept a $500 check from SIFE representative Hailey Johnson as their live nativity scene was voted most popular living window by the public.
