McCoy True Value has been a staple for the square since 1885 when it was started by the McCoy family. They were first located on East Ashland and in 2001 relocated to the old Fareway store on North Howard. The new store provides more space, parking, and a place for the greenhouse.

They are a full line hardware store offering tools, indoor and outdoor paint, rentals for tools or parties, and a garden department. The paint is their biggest department with a seemingly endless number of color choices and combinations. If they don't have the color you need just ask for custom color mixing.

McCoy True Value has all your projects covered from fertilizing your lawn with their full line of fertilizers to spring cleaning around the house with carpet cleaners that can be rented.
